Description
- Caprolactam is most often synthesized from the benzene component in petroleum processing. It is a precursor in the synthesis of Nylon-6 and as such, among the most highly used chemical intermediates in manufacturing Nylon-6. It is usually produced as clear liquid form and a flake form. Nylon-6 made of Caprolactam has a wide applications in the artificial fiber industry as well as a structural material in the machinery and electronics industry.
